Items purchased from the Cartel Market are bound to the character that purchased them for a period of time after being placed into inventory. The currency used for transactions are Cartel Coins. The Cartel Market is an in-game store, introduced with Patch 1.5.0, that provides a variety of items, including pets, vehicles, and character unlocks for Free-to-Play players. They can choose one of eight classes and thanks to a meticulously written storyline and dialogue options each player will be able to craft their character's destiny and decide which side of the Force to choose. Players join the game as members of either of the two main factions – the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Star Wars The Old Republic lets you create your own team and take part in an epic Star Wars battles. So for example, the 60 day game time might say 29.99, but ends up be 31.30 or something with taxes, so you need to make sure the money you put in Steam or Amazon is enough to cover taxes (depends on where you live). So why wait, waste money and give up on your Star Wars MMO experience, when you can buy a Prepaid with ease? Also note that if you have to pay taxes online, you will need more than the asking price to buy the game time. The price is significantly lower than in case of payment via credit card and it's much safer. The Card can be used to add game time or activate the full version of Star Wars: The Old Republic without the use of a credit card (the free month of game time will then be added to the 60-day Time Card).
